In 1934, the ship S.S. Morro Castle caught fire and burned off the coast of New Jersey. It was widely believed that the cause of the fire was arson.
Two people from Bangor, Pennsylvania, Herman and Pearl Panimo, were on board the Morro Castle that day and survived. This presentation describes what happened to the ship and the Panimos' escape from death.
